A Success story for Al-Baha Company for Caustic-Chlorine Ind. in the energy efficiency and sustainability of Jordanian industry
Amman – December 2024, Al-Baha Company for Caustic and Chlorine Ind. was featured as a success story in energy efficiency and sustainability during the launch of the Energy and Environmental Sustainability Center in Jordanian Industry (CEESI), The event was organized by the Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI) in cooperation with the USAID-funded Energy Sector Support Program and held under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Saleh Kharabsheh, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources in Jordan.
During the event, Eng. Abdullah Algaood, Head of the Research and Development Department at Al-Baha Company, shared the stories of adopting new technologies that enhance energy savings, reduce carbon emissions, and improve cost-effectiveness. He also highlighted how these innovations directly contribute to the sustainability of the chemical industry. As Al-Baha company is one of the biggest companies in the MENA region.
At the end as he concludes his panel discussion, Eng. Abdullah shared the company’s vision for future energy efficiency and sustainability projects. He outlined how these initiatives would not only benefit Jordan’s industrial sector but also boost the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to a leading position in energy efficiency and sustainability among Middle Eastern countries.
